President of the Harris County Medical Society, the largest county medical society in the country.
President of the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians. Immediate chairman of the Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs, which is charged with writing ethics policy for AMA physicians, including their opinion on ethical issues facing concierge physicians.
